Practice Reading

"Forget Goofing Off"

This article is about a school that simply eliminated the average aspect of recess. The idea of letting the kids go out, lolly gag, maybe play some games, and walk around aimlessly was not sitting well with the school. They went about it a different way with organized games. Every student had to participate in these fun games. Thought some refused, the amount of kids coming to the nurse with scrapes and cuts dropped dramatically. This looks like a great approach with this school in Newark!
